An elite roster of  participants have been invited to this year’s  Manila Bay Seasports Festival, which will be held on March 12-13.

Organized by Manila Broadcasting Company and the City of Pasay, in cooperation with the Philippine Coast Guard, this year’s seasports festival will feature mixed team championships for the Dragon Boat Race, stock and formula races in the motorized banca competition.

Converging along Roxas Boulevard’s Baywalk, water enthusiasts and hobbyists are invited to cheer on the participants in these popular spectator sports.  Attitude discipline, skill, and athletic ability will jointly determine who will bring home the prizes totalling half a million for all divisions.

The 2011 Seasports Festival is supported by  Smart Communications, Caltex, Gold Eagle Beer, Revicon Forte, Zesto, Filinvest, NutriCee, M. Lhuillier, Choco Quick, Wings Detergent, Briggs and Stratton, as well as Cord Marine Epoxy.   Interested bangkeros should call 832.6175.  Registration for the bancathon is on first-come, first-served basis, beginning February 7, while teams seeing action in the dragon boat competition should liaise with the Philippine Dragon Boat Federation.
