Boatmen from Agoo, La Union shut out the competition in the Stock Race of this year’s Manila Bay Seasports Festival, held last weekend.  Alvin Estacio, on board Patricia, took home the championship worth P150,000, followed by Angelito Cacayuran on Alfie, Ruben Quero on Angilyn, and Rey Quero on Brandon.

In the Formula Race, Marlon Morada of San Nicolas, Batangasd steered Blue Thunder to a first place finish over Bella Maine Mendoza, piloted by Raymond de la Cruz of  Hagonoy, Bulacan.  Joel Dave Nabor of La Union, on board Patricia, placed third, while Ronald Pajulio of Dasmarinas,  riding Hydrolift, came in fourth.

In the dragon boat races, Onslaught Racing Dragons captured the Open Standard championship, while the Philippine Coast Guard took home the top plum in the Mixed Standard, and Philippine Navy ruled the Women’s small boat division. Officials from Manila City Hall led by City Tourism Officer Liz Villasenor graced the occasion.

The 2016 Manila Bay Seasports Festival was presented by Manila Broadcasting Company and the City of Manila, in cooperation with the Philippine Coast Guard, and supported by Cobra Energy Drink, Alaska Kremtop, The Generics Pharmacy, Revicon, M. Lhuillier, My Juiz, White Castle, Executive Optical, and Herco Trading.
